You can still continue to use your BT Openzone subscription or voucher in the normal way and if you’re a BT Broadband or BT Business Broadband customer you still get unlimited FREE wi-fi access at all BT Wi-fi hotspots in places like Starbucks, John Lewis, Young’s Pubs, Hilton Hotels, Welcome Break, Thistle & Guoman Hotels, Roadchef, shopping centres and city centres.

You’ll still see and be able to use either the BTOpenzone or BTWiFi name in the list of available networks on your device.

They're the same thing. Simply it's an internet connection without wires. You can do everything that you'd do plugged in at home or in the office. Facebook, Twitter, email, games, music, you name it.

BT Wi-fi means you can do it all out and about at over 5 million hotspots around the UK & Ireland.

We also advise you make sure you have up to date firewall and anti-virus software to guard against any attacks and we strongly recommend you consider using a virtual private network (VPN), which protects your data from being intercepted.
